How to add lines and polygons on a map?

Editing my maps - February 6, 2015

New line

1. Use the Drawing > New line command from the menu

2. Click on the map to create the line's starting point, then click again to create the line's ending point. Click a second time at the ending point's location to end the line, or keep adding segments by clicking at each desired location. To end you drawing, double-click on the map at the desired location for the final point.

3. A dialog box then appears to let you change the weight, opacity and the color of your line.

4. Enter a Title, an optional ID and Description for your drawing.

New Polygon

1. Use the Drawing > New polygon command from the menu

2. Click on the map to create the polygon's starting point, then click again to create the polygon's other points. To end you drawing, click on the drawing's first point to close it.

3. A dialog box then appears to let you change the weight, opacity and the color of the polygon's contour as well as its fill style.

4. Enter a Title, an optional ID and Description for your drawing.

Note: you can activate Drawings edition mode by checking the button at the top right of the Editor window. It allows you to directly modify the outline and the shape of your drawings.
